General Terms and Conditions of Business (Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen)

The company Salzburg Ticket Service GesmbH, registered at the National and Commercial Court in Salzburg, hereinafter referred to as the Operator, adopts the following terms and conditions to be the basis of his contractual action for all transactions initiated by the client via internet, and accepted by the Operator. All transactions via internet shall be entered into on the basis of these General Terms and Conditions; this shall also apply to transactions which are initiated after consultation at the Operator´s premises, but are entered into via internet. The present Terms and Conditions shall also apply to any organizing activities of the Operator, as far as these activities occur in isolated instances.

Cancellation of tickets and liability:

All kinds of ticket orders - by telephone, by fax, by e-mail and online - are binding upon the client and irrevocable (admission tickets are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal). A subsequent cancellation of payments is not possible, unless obligating regulations of the Austrian KSchG are to be applied. Further we want to inform, that fully paid tickets can be taken back for resell on commission base. We will refund the selling-price we were able to fetch less 20 % commission fee. (refund face value regarding tks. for the summer festival and the Sbg. Adventsingen.)

If any event is cancelled, tickets will be refunded up to four weeks after the originally scheduled event date, at which point all refund rights will lapse. The tickets must be returned to our office Salzburg Ticket Service GesmbH, Mozartplatz 5, A-5020 Salzburg, either directly or via registered letter. (Please disclose your full name, bank institute, bank routing number and your account number or your credit card number as well as the expiration date.)

We won't take tickets back until the cancellation of an event is publicly announced by the organizer of that event. We are just a ticket agency and are not liable for the refund of entrance fees, but we will try hard to prevail upon the organizer of an event to do so.

Programme, cast and beginning time are subject to alteration and do not warrant a conversion or a price reduction. The operator is not liable for delays, accidents or interruptions which are caused by circumstances beyond the operator's control. If any event is cancelled or postponed and in case of changes of programme or cast, the operator won't refund any expenses (e.g. for approach, hotel etc.) nor the booking-fee.

The Operator cannot accept responsibility for tickets lost during shipment.

Prices and terms of payment:

The prices quoted in the offer or in the order form shall be valid, but please not that all prices are subject to alteration. Besides booking-fee, prices may include value-added tax as well as additional expenses incurred by purchasing tickets and necessary proportionate partnership, sponsors' or membership subscriptions ( tickets for the "Salzburger Festspiele", "Salzburger Osterfestspiele", "Pfingstkonzerte Salzburg" and the "Salzburger Adventsingen" include partnership or sponsors' subscriptions). All tickets, either bought for dispatch or deposit, can either be paid by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or, under following conditions, by bank transfer (order on account). Order on account:

• the tickets are ordered at least eight weeks before the event is held
• the Operator has the right to resell the tickets in case of delay of payment
• the payments are due immediately and without deductions after order or rather after receipt of the invoice. All additional costs and expenses for bank transfers are to be paid by the client.

To guarantee the data protection in case of online-bookings, all information about the credit card and personal information are transmitted via SSL.

Shipping charges and booking-fees in case of written and telephone orders:

Austria:	until turnover of Euro 150,--:	Euro 6,--
	turnover of 151,-- and more:	Euro 8,--
foreign countries:	until turnover of Euro 151,--:	Euro 8,--
	turnover of 151,-- and more:	Euro 15,--

Deposit at the evening box-office (possible after consultation, if the event is held in the city centre of Salzburg) or at the reception of a hotel in the city centre of Salzburg: Euro 4,--

Pick-up in our office on Mozartplatz 5: no shipping charges

Booking-fee in case of online-order Euro 7,--

Ways of delivery of the tickets:

Pick-up in the office of Salzburg Ticket Service (bei einer Buchung bis spätestens 15:00 h am Vorstellungstag, ausgenommen Wochenend- und Feiertagsvorstellungen)

Mailing the tickets to clients in foreign countries is possible until three weeks before the event is held, mailing in the inland is possible until ten days in advance.

For organizational reasons, the Operator will reserve the choice of way of delivery for himself.

Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
(during the Salzburg Summer Festival: Monday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Data Protection:

All data arising in the purchase process will be stored for bookkeeping and evidence of clients. Such data are: Invoice address, delivering address, ordered tickets. All data will be treated according to the Data Protection Act and won't be passed on to third parties.
