The Salzburger Festungskonzerte with 300 concerts each year are counted among the largest chamber music-concert series in the world. Highly qualified musicians and internationally renowned soloists perform the musical treasures of the great masters of music – included are of course the best works of W.A. Mozart.

But the Salzburg Fortress Concerts offer a lot more than just a concert. The guests also experience the unique atmosphere of the 900 year old fortress “Hohensalzburg”, the landmark of the “Mozart city” Salzburg. The view from the concert hall over the city of Salzburg and the nearby countryside is unique and breathtaking. After the concert the visitors even have the possibility to take a look at “Salzburg by night”. Thus a festival concert will be an unforgettable experience!

In case of bookings of Best of Mozart DinnerFestungskonzerte, the fortress railcar and the fortress admission are free! The 4-course candlelight dinner always takes place 2 hours prior to the concert. On request, groups of 40 or more persons can enjoy the 4-course candlelight dinner after the concert.
